Phase I of the JP RWEE was implemented from 2014 to 2021 in Ethiopia, Guatemala, Liberia, Kyrgyzstan, Nepal, Niger and Rwanda.
Phase II is being implemented in Nepal, Niger, Rwanda, Tanzania, Tunisia and the Pacific Islands (Fiji, Kiribati, Solomon Islands, and Tonga) from 2022 to 2027.
The JP RWEE directly reached over 130,000 rural women and men since Phase I and is expected to reach an additional 10,000 women and men by the end of Phase II (2027).
